Project Overview

Machhapokhari is commercially blooming area of Kathmandu. It acts as a trade route. An one ropani
site is located exactly in front of huge vegetable market at Machhapokhari adjoining 50 feet wide
highway. The vision was to provide an unique identity to commercial building to acquire public attention
through faced design. Our design team invested quiet an amount of time for conceptualizing a
framework that assured:
 Legal boundaries
 Maximum rental spaces
 Heterogeneous building envelope design
 Façade that helps avoid glare and over heating yet providing optimum natural light and vent in
functional spaces indoor

Beyond these, the biggest challenge was to ensure the structural strength to the design due to
significant differences in ground and road level.
