Our latest architectural project is a beautiful, modernist building that blends seamlessly into its urban environment. The goal of this project was to create a building that is both visually striking and highly functional, providing a space that is comfortable and inviting for its occupants.
The design of this building features clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic, with a focus on simplicity and functionality. The use of glass and steel allows for plenty of natural light to flood the interior spaces, creating a bright and airy atmosphere that is conducive to productivity and relaxation.
Theme
The basic theme of the design is to create a holiday home for family to gather around occasionally. Courtyard planning was our concept to generate gathering spaces. The courtyards at front and back has purposefully placed to impose interactive spaces from living room, balconies and kitchen. The design team opted the slope roof idea to comprehend heavy rainfall of Gorkha. Whereas chaityas and exposed brick design used to maintain traditional Newari architecture providing a cozy ambience to holiday home.
The Thrill
Started with early morning drive of 5 hrs from ktm to the site, through rough road and uphill walk. Multiple series of meeting and defining, visualizing and creating each space to its inches. The sensational factor is the welcoming entry foyer connecting each spaces which was equally supported and even challenged by the backyard entry and space mesmerizing through its warm and greenspace of area.
